Products in Development: Skypecasts & Pamela

Those innovative folk over at Skype are currently developing and testing a new product in their range: Skypecasts.

This new collaborative tool allows people from anywhere on the planet to come together in an online conference environment. Currently, it supports up to 100 “attendees” to the Skypecast. To see what is currently going on Skypecast wise you should visit the list of Skypecasts, which shows the current and upcoming Skypecasts.

However, it is very much a product in testing so only install it for testing purposes and do not install it on business critical production systems! Beta quality code is for test purposes only and as such it could trash your systems - you’ve been warned!

People who want to record these Skypecasts should have a look at the latest version of Pamela that supports recording of Skype calls. There is also a load of new features in this new version of a great product.
