Vista Drivers for Skype Phones
We’ve sold quite a few Skype phones over the last year and a bit. Many people may now be attempting to use them on Windows Vista systems without success. They may even be frustrated that they aren’t working as they once did under Windows XP, even after Windows Vista reportedly installs the USB phone when connected.
Solution is easy, you’ll need to head on over to the manufacturer’s website and download the latest version of Skypemate, which is now compatible with Vista.
A few customer have successful used these products with the software update indicated.

I have the CIT200, and the problem is, once installed, takes over my speakers and I cannot listen to music on my computer. With XP I can have both working (phone for phone calls, and music coming out of my speakers). With Vista, it seems to be an either or thing… is this correct?

Sorry we don’t use Linksys products.
You should contact the supplier of your phone or Linksys support to resolve your problem.

I had the CIT200. I’ve upgraded since then to the GE 28300. However, with the CIT 200, once you have the USB receiver plugged in, you can go to the control panel in windows and then go to the sound settings and change your speakers back without messing up your skype phone. Just make sure your skype program continues to use the usb device and your computer is using the sound card device for the system and you’re golden.
